Natural zircon sand :ZRS-B primarily originates from coastal sand and is obtained through physical beneficiation processes such as water separation, electrostatic separation, and magnetic separation. Its theoretical composition is: ZrO2: 67.1%; SiO2: 32.9%. Due to impurities, zircon sand can appear in shades of purplish red, yellowish brown, pale yellow, pale red, green, gray, and colorless, with a diamond-like luster. Its Mohs hardness ranges from 7.5 to 8, and its specific gravity is between 4.4 and 4.8. It is brittle and exhibits a conchoidal fracture. Its refractive index is between 1.93 and 2.01, and its melting point is between 2340 and 2550℃. It is resistant to thermal shock, possesses good stability, and exhibits strong slag corrosion resistance. Primary processing of natural zircon sand concentrate can be applied in refractory and glass-ceramic industries; professional grinding produces zircon powder and zirconium silicate products for use in the ceramic industry; and advanced processing is used to produce high-purity zirconia and chemical zirconium products for use in precision ceramics, leather, and other industries.

Zircon flour:ZRF-B, primarily composed of zirconium silicate (ZrSiO₄), is an important industrial raw material widely used for its excellent high-temperature resistance, chemical stability, and mechanical properties. Its characteristics include a high melting point (about 2500°C), low thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance, which make it stable in extreme environments. In addition, zircon powder is usually in the form of white or light gray powder with adjustable particle size (such as 325 mesh specifications), suitable for various processing techniques.

Zircon flour is primarily used in the following areas: as a key component in refractory materials for manufacturing refractory bricks and castables; in the ceramic industry as a glaze or body additive to enhance the wear resistance, hardness, and strength of ceramics; and in the manufacture of foundry coatings for large steel castings.and also in the production of wear-resistant materials and frits.
