

Natural zircon sand:ZRS-A primarily originates from coastal sand and is obtained through physical beneficiation processes such as water separation, electrostatic separation, and magnetic separation. Its theoretical composition is: ZrO2: 67.1%; SiO2: 32.9%. Due to impurities, zircon sand can appear in various colors such as purplish red, yellowish brown, light yellow, light red, green, gray, and colorless, with a diamond-like luster. It has a Mohs hardness of 7.5 to 8, a specific gravity of 4.4 to 4.8, is brittle, and exhibits a conchoidal fracture. Its refractive index ranges from 1.93 to 2.01, and its melting point is between 2340 and 2550℃. It is resistant to thermal shock, possesses good stability, and exhibits strong resistance to slag corrosion. Primary processing of natural zircon sand concentrate can be applied in refractory materials, precision casting, and glass-ceramic industries. Through professional grinding, zircon powder and zirconium silicate products are produced for use in precision casting and the ceramic industry. Advanced processing can be used to produce high-purity zirconia and chemical zirconium products for use in precision ceramics, leather, and other industries.
