

The main crystalline phase of casting grade white corundum sand/flour is α-Al2O3, which is white in color and characterized by high refractoriness, low porosity, good volume stability, and excellent thermal shock resistance. It can be used as a surface shell material in lost wax precision casting of alloy steel, carbon steel, and large steel castings. It exhibits excellent thermal stability of the mold shell, high-temperature chemical stability, and good shell detachment and collapsibility.
